В IE 6-7 сдвигаются столбцы. не могу привязать жестко.

В во всех браузерах все хорошо (IE 8-9, опера, файерфокс, хром), а вот в IE 6-7 столбцы едут и привязать их не могу никак настолько жестко чтобы победить IE 6-7.
посоветуйте.

нет, мой хак отвечает как раз за все ниже 8, не включая ее.

<!--[if lt IE 8]> - "lt" как раз и значит less than. Хак отлично работает для IE 7 и 6.

Вопрос не про хак а как без хака сделать?

IE 6 и 7 в данном случае обинаново неправильно показывают.
не проблема сделать хак проблема что даже с хаком мне пришлось менять стиль кординально - убирать форматирование заголовка модуля.

в чем в верстке или CSS загвоздка интересно

а Что в эти файлы прописать надо еще для моей колонки?
какие строки оттуда брать и изменять из styles.ie.css и styles.ie7.css?

В том то и дело что вроде файербагом все хорошо отображает заданную мной ширину, а на деле сползает.

Ослик не понимает некоторые css
т.е.
для ФФ одни для него другие
float
position
и др. мелочи ФФ пропустит мол не важно
а Ослику их указать надо
