Редирект 301 не работает! - Joomla 1.5: Настройка и оптимизация

Приветствую! Вообщем проблема такая: ставлю в .htaccess переадресацию со старой страницы на новую - не работает, при этом старая страница существует или обязательно чтобы она отдавала 404 ошибку? (поставил SEF, не хочется терять ссылки на старые страницы)

Нет, не нужно 404.
SEF встроенный ?

Да встроенный, причём склейка работает

напиши свой редирект в тему

Пробовал все способы, описанные в сети - не работает!

Может нужно какой то отдельный блок делать для редиректа?

Вообще хочу сделать, чтобы с динамических страниц с определенным id был редирект на определенную страницу новую, если я не ошибаюсь, это выглядит вот так:

RewriteRule ^/index.php$ http://site.ru/newname.html [L,R=301]

?

До сих пор актуально!
