имхо, задумка хорошая: сила VM в разработке магазина с покупательской корзиной и кассой + сила К2 как каталога для разработки контента и стилизации.
возьмем, к примеру эту фичу K2mart:
- Brings all VirtueMart product properties like manufacturers, discounts, product status, product attributes and so on into K2
- привносит все свойства товаров, как "Производители", "Скидки", "Статус товара", "Оформление товара" и т.д., в компонент К2.
имхо, это значительно расширяет гибкость владельца магазина и его возможности разрабатывать контент вокруг любого из указанных свойств. за 15 Евриков это совсем неплохо, если только, как заметил smart, они это вытянут и проект не затухнет.
